New Screenshots of Point Lookout

Post by POOPERSCOOPER »

[ Game -> Update ]

Bethesda's next DLC for FO3 is Point Look Out which is about a bunch of mutated hicks and spooky stuff.

Bethesda has released new screenshots of upcoming Fallout 3
downloadable content Point Lookout, showing the answer to most problems
in the swamp: a hefty axe.

During E3 we had a gander
at the delights Point Lookout brings to Fallout 3, including a new open
environment, several fresh weapons, and a sinister plot by mutated
cultists.

A new developer diary
from Point Lookout's lead designer and lead artist details the
swampland's aesthetic development and gameplay design challenges the
area raised.

Point Lookout arrives June 23 on PC and Xbox 360, priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10). A <a href="http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/5 ... layStation 3 release is expected once the previous three DLCs have hit the console.

No Innsmouth, first picture reminded me a bit of the deep ones from Innsmouth but from a distance at least.

Any worth buying, or is it all more of the same as Oblivion's with just a gimmick to each one?
Obsidian:
Now working on Fallout: New Undermountain!

They promise to spend only a year on this title - only a year less than the original Descent to Undermountain!

Well, The Pitt is not *as* retarded as the other ones, because it's a rip-off of Fallout Tactics's Gammorin, who was one of the few decent characters there.

Too bad the voice acting for Ashur was such a joke, which is odd because James Lewis did easily some of the best voice work in the game. Who know, maybe the poor dialog was too much to overcome? His big speech RHYMED for fuck's sake.
my vocabulary skills is above you.

None worth buying, but they're all easily piratable.
