It's a movie by Micheal Mann with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in the same vein of Heat. It's was a good film but wasn't as good as Heat for numerous reasons like too many characters and not much depth into the characters. The film has really great shoot outs like you expect from Micheal Man but these were particularly good, kind of like Heat shoot out in the streets. Tommy guns looks pretty freakin awesome in the movie. Bale kind of just drifted through the movie, didn't really seem to stand out at all which was a similar complaint he got for Terminator 4.

Overall, I would definitely recommend the movie to people of DAC. I think they would thoroughly enjoy it.

The casting for Dillinger is quite good. Johnny Depp totally has the same smile.

Anyway, the movie was quite good. I wasn't expecting much before of the reviews I read in the newspaper, but I was really impressed.

Depp is good.

The gun shooting scenes are just amazing. Scenario aside, I think it's Mann's best movie; the direction is excellent.

They pgave the details lots of care.
