Glad I'm not the only one, though I still enjoy playing it every once in a great while.S4ur0n27 wrote:I often get down to play Diablo 2,
Act 1 or 2 are my favorites, but I usually quit my replay at act 3. I liked the second half of that act, but wandering that damn jungle with the little fucking midgets everywhere gets pretty frustrating. The little teleporting mages in act 5 are by far the worst enemies in the game though.S4ur0n27 wrote: Act 2 and 3 were fucking annoying. Especially the pygmees of the third act.

Last playthrough, I just used the Paladin's rush technique to sprint through the whole thing. Mana's near-infinite and I just hauled ass through the whole gig, all the way to the lower part of the city. After that, it's basically straightforward.
If you guys are on Nightmare, we should all play it through. I've never co-oped with more than one person before

Third on this page. I guess.
The only enemies I've ever been annoyed with were the reviving ones at Nihalthak's (or whatever his douche-name is) temple in Act V. Outside of that, I came to a point where I just never really felt concerned about oncoming enemy hordes. Even the skeletons/skeleton mages I'd be spawning would be able to take care of things relatively easy.
Edit: TCP-IP game at 192.168.2.102,
Act V on Hell difficulty. Can downgrade if it needs to happen, but has full inventory and needs someone to take some shit off his hands so it doesn't go to waste. Anybody interested?

Just fired it up yesterday. I forgot how hard that game is early on, especially compared to Morrowind and Oblivion, yet I also remember how much better it is compared to it's successors.Smiley wrote:http://megagames.com/news/html/freegame ... game.shtml

All you'll ever need.
