Momma's Ship Gets Release Date :fart:
<strong>[ Game -> Update ]</strong>
<p>Looks like the last of the DLC for FO3 has gotten its release date;</p><blockquote><p><em>"Mothership Zeta, the last of the five announced downloadable expansions
for Fallout 3, will debut on Monday, August 3, developer Bethesda
announced today.
</em></p><p><em>Priced at 800 Microsoft Points ($10), the add-on will be available
for PC and Xbox 360 players that day, with PlayStation 3 owners of the
action-RPG getting it <a href="http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/59509">a bit later on</a>. Originally, Mothership Zeta was slated to arrive in late July, marking a slight delay.

detailing the new items, locations and story elements to be found in
the expansion. Remember, all five bits of Fallout 3 DLC will be bundled
alongside the original adventure in a "Game of the Year Edition" due to hit stores <a href="http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/58689">come October</a> at $59.99 on PS3/Xbox 360 and $49.99 on PC.
</em></p><em>Mothership Zeta Fact Sheet
</em><p><em><strong>DESCRIPTION:</strong> Defy hostile alien abductors and fight your way
off of the massive Mothership Zeta, orbiting Earth miles above the
Capital Wasteland. Mothership Zeta takes Fallout 3 in an entirely new
direction - outer space. Meet new characters and join with them in a
desperate bid to escape the Aliens' clutches. To do so, you'll wield
powerful new weapons, like the Alien Atomizer, Alien Disintegrator, and
Drone Cannon, and deck yourself out in brand new outfits, like the
Gemini-Era Spacesuit and even Samurai Armor.
</em></p><p><em><strong>STORY:</strong> A strange Alien signal is being broadcast
throughout the Capital Wasteland, originating from a crashed UFO. Is it
a distress call, or something far more sinister? That question is
answered when you find yourself beamed aboard an enormous Alien
spacecraft, with only one alternative - to fight your way to the bridge
of the ship and secure your escape. </em></p><p><em><strong>KEY FEATURES:</strong></em></p><ul><li><em> Find and exploit new and destructive alien technology, like the Alien Atomizer and Drone Cannon.
</em></li><li><em> Explore the vast Mothership and learn the secrets of the Aliens' master plan.
</em></li><li><em> Thwart the Aliens' attempt to stop your escape, and take over
the Alien ship before it wreaks havoc on the unsuspecting Earth below.
</em></li><li><em> Fight against the Alien Invaders, their robot drones, and turn their own horrible experiments against them.
</em></li><li><em>Ally yourself with an unexpected array of characters, both from the Capital Wasteland and from Earth's past."</em></li></ul></blockquote>

I love your headlines, Scooper. Nobody does it half as good as you.

More DLC "content" that promises to break what was previously patched? Check.Wolfman Walt wrote:First person shooter? Check
Hovertanks and uber armor? Check
Bad Writing? Check, Check, and Double Check
Now Aliens? Check.
After having played the core game several times, along with looking at a summary of the DLC content, Bethesda would appear to be the Special Ed Class of developers. Their forums expand that into the Bethesda School for the Extra-Retarded.

Now working on Fallout: New Undermountain!
They promise to spend only a year on this title - only a year less than the original Descent to Undermountain!

True, it couldn't be called QA'd by any stretch of the imagination. The patches they DID release ended up broken by the DLC Broken Shit.Retlaw83 wrote: None of it was previously patched. Joke's on you!
It is amazing to realize that Bethesda can sit on their asses and smoke out of the crack pipe to come up with content for untermenchen even dumber than Bethesda developers. But hey, some girls still worship Paris Hilton. It gives great insight to the industry when these overpaid and under-talented dipshits manage to create a following as well as manage to stay in business, much less be called "AAA" developers.
