I just saw it today-- forgive me if I'm not a massive Tekken follower. Just find it massively... well, I don't even know the adjective. Just a Japanese rendition of America = an overweight, red-and-blue-clad douchebag with anger management issues he copes with by beating the hell out of other people, mostly utilizing his fat.

I used to love the Tekkens, but they've gotten lamer as they've gotten better-looking. (Those graphics are pretty sick.) Or maybe I'm just over fighting games that aren't Soul Calibur.
Though SCIV could serve to have an even-more diversified custom fighter creator. Any dude with a sword and shield automatically seeming feminine in animation doesn't exactly play best. Not only that, but some new weapons, like brass knuckles or kukris would make things a bit more edgy.

Why don't you guys like Virtua Fighter, that is pretty much the best series of fighters but I guess mainly for competitive play. I guess you guys just aren't up to the same level as virtua fighter requires, I spent a few months playing Virtua Fighter 4 Evo on ps2 and I wish that thing were online as it would have been so much fun. Now I'm not too interested in fighters so I kind of gave up and never got Virtua Fighter 5 which has online and by the time I had a little bit of rekindled interest it was probably too late and the online scene would have been pretty low.

Bitch, please, I was all about VF4: Evo when it came out and crowed it from the rooftops here. You were probably too busy counting your pubes or whining about FO:T to remember.
It is an intensely difficult game, and really miles apart from Tekken in the sense that button-mashing won't get you anywhere. You have to learn the fighting system and control scheme inside and out before you can tackle the really gonzo challengers. Tekken is more arcade-y and flashy.
