Official DAC IRC Channel Now Open

<strong>[ Community -> Update ]</strong> - More info on <a href="##duckandcover">Community: #duckandcover</a>

DAC now has an officially named IRC channel, <a href="irc://irc.gamesurge.net/duckandcover" target="_self">#duckandcover</a>. I'm not sure why <a target="_self" href="irc://irc.gamesurge.net/duckandcover">#duckandcover</a> never existed before, but it's here now. While #fallout still remains as the channel whole Fallout community, <a href="irc://irc.gamesurge.net/duckandcover" target="_self">#duckandcover </a>will be the DAC specific channel. Cheers!

No, the official channel of DAC is #fallout. It's going to be the same thing that happens with #rpgcodex, they just get told to go to #fallout.

The point of the channel is going to become clearer when I start to overhaul the main site. We'll be adding quite a bit more Fallout and community content and I'm hoping to start some recurring events that we'll need our own IRC channel for.

So no need for a #duckandcover, I guess. Anyway, there's also #wikia-fallout, which is the most active Fallout channel nowadays.

Clearly the best IRC channel at the moment is irc://irc.freenode.net/fallout-trivia anyways (as long as the trivia bot is there).
