It seems that Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner is being considered for the titular role in George Miller's Mad Max 4. From <a href="http://www.aintitcool.com/node/41901" target="_self">AICN</a>:

 Now remember all the various other rumors about this film, including the fact that it was supposedly going to be an animated film. It looks like it might be moving ahead next summer as a live-action movie, but without Mel Gibson.

So they've been doing Mad Max 4 for, what, 25 years now?

I wouldn't be surprised if Bethesda bought the title and turned it into a complete :pete:

Renner is pretty great, can't think of anyone else to reprise Gibson's role if they are doing a prequel or something. Still, an older Max played by Gibson would be ideal.

Well... The Hurt Locker looks like a good movie, im going to watch that.
and what happened to the anime mad max lol, i wonder how that would have turned out.( Probably not well.)
