Twilight sucks?

Vampire's are kinda lame imo. Too much religion involved. I like athiest monsters like ziombies, Cthulhu, and axe murderers :)

i just thought everyone should know my opinion :drunk:

Modern media ruined the classic image of the vampire.

The classic image wasn't that impressive anyway. I've never like traditional monsters. Zombies have always been my favorite.

The original book isn't a masterpiece, and its themes and morals are a little simplistic, but I've read far worse books in my time, and the main character is refreshingly angst-free for a series aimed at teenage girls. It's cheese, but well-done cheese, and with a sense of humor. I can't speak for the movie since I haven't seen it and don't particularly want to, even though Rob Pattinson (the actor who plays the vampire) turns my crank something fierce.

The entire Twilight series blows so hard!

I read the first one. I was like, "Eh... maybe it's just a slow series. I'll give it a chance." I read the second one. "Um... okay?" By the time I finished the second one, I was fueled solely on the goal of figuring out where the author was trying to go with this, so I give the third book a try.

I get halfway through before I throw it on the table in aggravation. I borrowed the fourth one from a friend. I read the first five pages before I just start skimming through it. I skip ahead to the end, and it more or less ends with "we lived happily ever after."

The woman is a horrible writer. So much so that if I ever won the lottery, I would be tempted to pay her to retire.

Paying her is like rewarding an inmate for bad behavior. It only encourages more. You'd be better off paying to have her "retired". It contributes more to the economy.

This thread being the only experience I had with this so-called "twilight" I was sitting in a theatre recently and saw a preview for this very angsty emo-tard vampire movie. I chuckled to myself and thought "this must be a twilight movie" and LO, IT WAS.

Both of my kid cousins are going as goth vampires for halloween because of Twilight. I actually watched the movie and could see why so many girls like it and stuff, there is one part where the vampires are playing baseball and some music is playing in the background and it was pretty catchy so I wanted to shake my butt to it.

You ruined the ending! I'm going to go cut myself in disappointment.

If you retire her by drowning her in a toilet, I'll pay you.

I'm quite happy for her to keep making shit books to base shit movies on that I can easily amuse dates with. Most movies are rat-shit anyway, at least these have a use.

why the heck do you want to amuse a woman, you should squirt a blob of vaseline in both her eyes then make her watch the end of 2001, test the mettle for true wife material eg push a child out
