Why is this " Klaus Kinski" well known? I've looked at his IMDB and don't recognize one movie of his?
Nicholas Cage makes a lot of movies lately that are kind of meh but we still like watching them. His best movies were The Rock and Conair I think.

What about Fast Times at Ridgemont High?
Wild at Heart or Faceoff, but only in the so-bad-he's-funny way. I remembered WaH being great, then rewatched it recently, and he was such a clown, with the Elvis impersonating and the trashmetal mosh pitting. Great movie, but he takes it into camp territory with his "acting".
Cobra Verde
Nosferatu???
He was in a couple great Spaghetti Westerns - For a Few Dollars More and just watched The Great Silence the other day. Kickass ending to that one, horrible english dubs though.

I have no idea who the guy is and those movies aren't really that well known to me besides For a Few Dollars More. Why is he popular and being related to Nicholas Cage? Were his movies a bit shit too?Cimmerian Nights wrote:What about Fast Times at Ridgemont High?

Kinski's good films are kinda sophisticated or even artsy fartsy if you will, very ROSEBUD and a strain to watch.
you should probably check some of the youtube videos about Kinski to begin to grasp a bit of his essence, Pooper
