UPDATED - Interplay Wins - No Preliminary Injunction
[ Company -> Update ] - News related to Top Story: Interplay Wins! | More info on Company: Bethesda v. Interplay

According to DAC's sourcesThanks to a trusted source and confirmed by Duck and Cover, Interplay has won a victory in the drama that is Bethesda v. Interplay. Although the results of the case were technically sealed from everyone but the lawyers, the final document has a posting which stated the following (scroll down to read the actual document):

Motion Hearing held on 12/10/2009 re [3] MOTION for Preliminary Injunction filed by Bethesda Softworks LLC - Argued - "DENIED" as stated on the record by Judge Deborah K. Chasanow. (Court Reporter - Sharon O'Neill) (td, Deputy Clerk)

So the motion filed by Bethesda has been denied by the courts. This means, among other things, that Interplay can still sell the Fallout Trilogy pack, and they can still work on Project: V13, both of which Bethesda wanted to put a stop to by filing the injunction in the first place. Big win for the little guy.

Edit: If you want to read Bethesda's original motion, click here. This is the motion that the court has denied.

Available only to the highest bidder?
LOL, bethesda made it seem like interplay was disrupting Bethesda in some way. They even state that they were disrupting the sale of fallout 3 because of "false marketing". If anything, people will play the better game, or they won't be ignorant enough to accidentally buy the wrong game. (sometimes it is confusing to find something based off of function.)
