DAC Exclusive Interview with Koki

I found Koki on the internet and decided to interview him and here was the result;
 1. How did you get started in the Fallout community?
I joined DAC. I don't really remember how I did that, or when.
2. What did you like about Fallout 1 and 2?
The open world, the setting, the Rule of Three approach to quests, the combat, the classless system... just about everything about them is great.
 3. What did you think of FO3? If you didn't play it then why not?
When it was announced I thought it's going to be shit. During development I thought it's going to be shit. When it was released I thought "shit's here". When DriacKin made an LP on RPG Codex, I read it and it turned out I was right all along.
4. Why did you choose to participate at DAC compared to other sites like NMA or the RPGcodex?
Back in the day NMA was for emo swell guy and RPGCodex for people with heads up their asses. DAC was where all the cool people were.
5. What are some of your favorite memories at DAC?
The fake STALKER fansite, complete with screenshots and videos, which caused so much fan butthurt that GSC actually released a note that the site was indeed fake and there are no dragons and cyborgs in the actual game. Other than that it's hard to pinpoint anything because things usually happened on day-to-day basis.
 6. What other communities are you active in or were active in?
All "were" now: Relic Boards, TTLG, DAC, PPK(polish), -chans of all kinds, dozen others I didn't really get into like Adrenaline Vault. Nowodays I pretty much only visit RPG Codex.
7. What games are you currently playing or looking forward to playing?
Currently none, but I'm not removing from the inventory CoH, King Arthur, CoD 6, and King's Bounty: The Legend as I'm writing this, so I'll be playing all that soon. As for what I'm looking forward to, there's nothing to look forward to.
 8. What are your thoughts on Obsidian developing Fallout: New Vegas?
Stand-alone Fallout 3 DLC. Couldn't care less.
9. What do you see for the future of RPGs?
We're pretty much done for and we might as well never see another real RPG like Fallout or Arcanum as long as we live. One could hope for Eastern Europe and Russia to do the job, since they're basically only bastion of (offline) PC Gaming left on the planet, but they're too potato to make RPGs.
 10. You are well known for being full of hate, why do you think that is?
Because I am.
 11. You used to be somewhat active in #fallout on gamesurge.net, why did that stop when everyone screamed for your comeback?
I just got fed up with bullshit. There's only this much "what oblivion mods do you guys recommend" "The new LOST episode is awesome" or "So I went to a veterinarian with my cat today" I can take, especially in IRC RT. I find bullshit much easier to handle in forum TB.

MMRW, of course. And yeah, it would have to be personalized questions. And maybe a follow up email with further questions so that you can delve deeper into their answers, as these names go back a long time and are closely entwined with the early years of DAC.

Ya, you can look at all the interviews in the content portion of the main page.

What do you guys mean by personalized questions? I try to put a few questions aimed directly at the person already but it's hard to come up with some. I already sent susan questions, MMRW is on my list, so is nicolai, spazmo I tried his potential facebook name but got no response. Killzig I already did too but the interview kind of sucked ass since he didn't really take them serious.

Also, I think I tried interviewing Kreegle but he refused to do one.

We don't give a fuck if he's interested or not, he should do it anyway. He was a huge part of the community for a very long time.
