You weren't down near my way then by chance Blargh? We had a pretty massive fucking massive thunder storm roll through last night.Blargh wrote:Visiting friends who were visited by a massive thunder storm. Far more enjoyable than the intended amusements.
Now it feels as though the massive thunder storm has stolen in through my ear and taken up residence. Still far more enjoyable than the intended amusements.

Drank a quart of fancy beer, then 4 slightly fancy beers, glass of red wine, then a pint of fancy beer.
Watched a DVD, did some channel surfing, shot some people in the face in CSS.
Had a chili salad with Doritos.
Read a book about Apocalypse in mythology and pop culture while trailing off to sleep.
Forgot about the sparkling wine and fireworks.
I'll save that for whenever.

I saw your photos of that. It looked pretty sweet. That Kaiser guy had a pretty awesome mustache.Frater Perdurabo wrote:Went to the Kaiserball in the Hofburg in Vienna. I had some classes beforehand to brush up my waltz skills, but the pace was still too high

A friend of mine once woke up at home with blood all over his hands and boots (not his own blood) and amnesia. Went back to the party where he had been the night before to pick up some shit and the people there were like: "Wow, you're alive?!". He didn't pursue the matter any further so he still doesn't know what happened.Tingel Tangel wrote:Had dinner with a friend at my place, sharing a few bottles of bubbly, went to another friend's place to party at a student bar near his dorm room, left there around three, was home arond six in the morning - woke up with bruised knucles and cuts on my hands. Don't know how they got there.
Funnily enough, this is a typical Friday night for him.
The most awesome part was that they had a live performance of the Gypsy Baron by Strauss, my favourite operette of all time!King of Creation wrote:I saw your photos of that. It looked pretty sweet.
