i think it sounds interesting but i dont think its real. more like something for fun really. i checked out this site that had all kinds of info about it. pretty crazy shit if you ask me.

In the Fall semester, I actually wrote a 19-page paper on why Scientology is destructive and threatening to modern society. It's informative to people who are as-of-yet unaware of what Scientology is and what it's done, but to people already informed, it's just preaching to the choir.

I know there's a "church" around Winston-Salem, which is close to my home town. I know when the 4chan thing started about +100 people ended up around it for a day or two. Pretty good group of folks, those Anon.

Anon is protesting outside of virtually every Scientology Org (churches) in EVERY country. It's a worldwide effort.

Some countries are trying to get rid of it; Russia PHAILed, France is still working on it, Austrailia is just harassing the shit out of them until they figure out that the country is too fucking crazy/badass to succumb to Scilon mind control.

That 19-page paper? The minimum was ten pages. I only stopped at 19 because I was afraid the teach would reject the paper out of ridiculous length.

The great thing is, here in the UK, Scientology isn't legally recognised as religion, so they can't call themsevles one. They caused a bit of bother here in Manchester when they got a girl to ditch her loving family in exchange for a life of alien worship (I beleive that's what they worhsip right?)

Long story short, a bunch of crusty hippies from the university showed up wearing v for vendetta masks and started berating them and protesting and all that malarky, which is a bit over the top in my opinion. Me and my friend choose a different tact whenever we're so inclined to torment them. If we ever walk down the street they have their office on, we just open the door (their office is a shop unit, one of their dumb walk-in centres), yell abuse them, laugh, and walk away.
