As a Command and Conquer game, absolutely not. As a regular RTS game, I thought it was okay. There are definitely better games than Generals. I went back to playing Emperor: Battle for Dune.

I thought that Generals was a little bit easier, im not that good at RTS games so i liked Generals. But I did buy the C&C that had david hasslehoff in it.

I hated Tiberian Sun. Then I gave RA2 a shot but it was too easy and whacky. Haven't played a new C&C game since.

The original is still my favorite, just wish there was a way to jam it into the improved engine from Red Alert.
