I bought Fallout 2 a while ago but every time I run it, the video goes into negatives where shadows should be, also during conversations. Anyone know what i can do to fix this?

My Fallout 1 does that sometimes. Have you tried turning it off and on again?

This usually happens to me on newer computer environs. Using the high res patch can really help.
Appearing stupid is sexier than being stupid. Although I hear stoopid was a cut perk in fallout three, but was abandoned when the devs found out it could be simulated by simply playing the game...

It sounds like an incompatibility issue with your video drivers. Have you tried running the game in compatibility mode?

I don't get what the fascination everyone has with running all their games through Steam these days.

I don't know if you are referring to the same problem that I used to have - namely in Windows 7 all the colours get fucked up.
Solution: You have to close explorer first, then run the game.
