The South Africans are experts at copying American culture on the surface and ruining the whole enterprise in the details. The burger chain Wimpy's is a prime example of this.

Best way to describe it, is Wimpy's is a fast food chain in South Africa. Don't know if they use all-beef now, but back then they didn't.
When you ordered a hamburger there, you got something that looked perfect, as if it had just jumped out of a McDonald's ad. You bit into it and got 15% beef and 85% soy protein.

There's a lot of good American hip-hop. Unfortunately, the folks who produce the good stuff never get big record deals or radio play; lowest common denominator shit sells.
