FO3 Usermods (many compatible with New Vegas)

Since Bethesda decided to make Fallout 3, we figured we might as well have a forum about it.

You just keep re-affirming the obvious.

You can pretend really well, but no one's buying that you're an adult.

I sort of am. I reckon he's an older headed 15 year old. He can talk the talk, but still lacks manly pube-age.

I find that the Coyote Reflex Power Armor Is a great addition to the Fallout 3 power armors. It makes you run faster, jump higher, Maxes your perception while wearing it, and allows for longer range V.A.T.S targeting.

Yeah, good thing Fallout power armor is about being a lumbering unstoppable tank-like killing machine instead of an Olympic sprinter.

So it's basically Cheat Code Armor?

Cheat mods

Post by Roberto »

It was fine wen people began making user content for Fallout
2; but keep in mind this was solely due to the fact that many
of us thought that 2 was the end of the franchise after the
cancelation of VB. However, how is creating power armor that
boosts all stats to 10 make the game more enjoyable (with
regards to FO:3)? For me if it's not canon I'm not messing
with it.

Don't worry. The SPECIAL system in Fallout 3 has so little impact on the rest of the game, the only stats that matter are endurance and perception.

Perception matters? I always found LCK and STR more important, though I only bothered to cap LCK and INT

Perception makes enemies on your gaydar pop up more better.

Eh, I have Dogmeat as a spotter/early detection device. Post-Broken Steel, he's hard to kill.

Funny how in the real fallouts he was the only NPC that you Couldn't give commands too(regardless of their effectiveness) and in FO:3 he's the only one who you can give useful ones to; Bethsedas logic is beyond reproach.

Why does everyone hate me so much?
But I thought it was a cool mod and wanted to post it here. Yes, it makes your "Gaydar" maxed. so that is useless if you have dogmeat. But it is just better than most of the power armors in Fo3, and looks better too. That is something you have to agree with.

Note: the Fo3 radar fails so much, I hardly use it. so the perception max is useless.

The Coyote Reflex looks retarded.

I'd much prefer someone would just take the time out to make the Tactics PA, which is still more menacing than the quasi-similar FO3 Enclave Advanced Power Armor.

Power Armor Hierarchy:
FO2 Enclave Adv PA
T-51b
Tactics PA
FO3 Winterized T-51b
T-45d
Custom/Tribal T-45d
FO3 Enclave Adv PA

I'd place the Chinese Stealth Armor somewhere in there, but it's not applicable to the category.

A couple people have tried. Between how elongated the helmet is and the fashionable scarfs, it's the gayest thing since gay came to Gaytown.
