Where did Onechanbara ever try to assign itself some level of profundity and gravitas like the bill of goods we got sold by Pete Hines on FO3?

Onechanbara is base, and it revels in that. Tight bodies in tight clothes slaughtering zombies - it's LCD personified and it never perpetrates otherwise. Let them eat cake!

FO3 is Oblivion. Same engine, same designers, same philosophy towards dumbing-down RPGs. Same empty world with meaningless shit that has no effect and grey, limp lifeless characters with crap dialogue. FO3 tried to front like it was on the level, like it's an RPG, like it has integrity, like it's not pandering to the LCD, like it's more than Oblivion re-skinned.
It's the same old water-down shit for the LCD that Todd Howard excels at.

Todd Howard: making RPGs for people who hate RPGs.

You'd play Onechanbara because it promises tits, zombies and gore - and it delivers (I guess, never played one).
You'd play FO3 assuming since it's a sequel that there's some continuity - in gameplay, in design philosophy, in the SPECIAL system. That's not what FO3 delivers.

Fallout 3 is the spiritual successor of Oblivion.

Onechanbara still sucked monkey balls.......

It could be argued that Todd Howard and his ilk are providing a potentially valuable opportunity - to collect the sort of people who enjoy such pablum, and, through the provision of an enticing, innocuously padded forum for their nonsense ; minimise the damage they would otherwise inflict upon the concepts and sanity of countless others. But I know better . . .

What a shame that they chose Fallout. :drunk:

But...but....if it wasn't for them you'd have no Fallout! They resurrected a dead franchise! You should be happy with what you got because it's better than nothing at all! nah, jus' kiddin'. those, however, are actual defenses which you'll constantly see at Fallout boards and the occasional retard who infects the fansites. now, on with the show...
__________

looks like Miranda's gone and screwed everything up for thisiswar. what's a boy to do with raging hormones and social anxiety but hope his video-game women show off their disproportionate tits and asses, right?
I noticed in Fallout 3 that female characters and npcs had no armor textures which look good on them ? I thought that some of the female BOS knights were male. Should they have better textures and some clothing have real bonuses
dude. have you not heard of FalloutpornNexus? have at it, tiger.
___________

to be (the trader), or not to be (the trader) that is sparton056's question:
that would be cool instead of having to find the traders you could be the trader and you could get your own store and hire security to guard your stuff, maybie

yeah, maybie.
___________

what do you want in NV, endlessdevotionk?
This is gonna sound vain, but whatever. D: An option to dye/color clothes and armor would be nice. Or at least just dying clothes, things that have no metal armor on them (merc charmer outfit, for example).

Having SOME kind of customization below the neck would be nice.

really, dude? man...fuck you guys, i'm going home.

With regards to sharing I came across these gems the other day:

OMG how did they render splosions in 3D in the old fallout games?

Question: Agreed, when I looked at the minimum system requirements for the FO Trilogy I laugehd so hard it says the processor must be so many Mhz not Ghz!!! ha ha and the amount of RAM required is just insanely low. Where there minimum requirements top of the line when FO first came out?
-disciple

Not to fear, flamerBob offered up this insightful tidbit to clarify things:

Response: I don't think they were, no, but as I got into hardware later (my first "very own" processor was a 400MHz Pentium II), I can't quite say.

If your machine can run Windows 2000 or higher, it can run F1/2.
-flamekebob

...cause fallout 1 came out in late 2000, so you should be set broseth, just make sure you run it in 1080p otherwise it sux!

Not to be outdone by the other micro-brains on Bethsoft, Falloutperson416 wonders when he can see his favorite director add zombies and witty diatribes to a Fallout movie adaptation:

I heard there might possibly be a Fallout 3 movie directed by Quinten Tarintino, or not. Any info on that?

Thank's,

Falloutperson416

Yeah just in: you're a moron

zeba: i actually enjoyed ME2 until i realized it was just a rinse/repeat pop-a-mole dating simulator after the first couple missions. if they tried a little harder to give the game some depth and make it dynamic, and a little less hard on the embarrassing "have secks with NPC?" part it could have been a decent game.

roberto: well, his post belongs to "thank", duh!

anyway...
___________

Conner Berry has Windows 7:
Iv'e heard many counts of games being incompatible with 7. Iv'e actually tried to run the first Fallout, and the resolution is all [censored] up with colors. There are so many things I can't do with it that it make me sad. Will New Vegas?
let's see...Fallout 1 came out in 1997, a good 12 years before anybody had W7 on their computer...and Fallout NV is coming out a good year and a half after W7's been released. nah, i doubt they'll work things out.
____________

for reasons i can't begin to understand, duskfang is coming up with quest ideas for New Vegas:
ok well heres mine...

Quest- Russian Roulette

Objective 1- kill the 'Roulette raiders' which have hooled up in the basement of 'big boys bad cassino' and retrive butterfly kiss (44 cal hand gun with sneek+3 and accuracy +5) and lucky 6 of spades playing card (luck+5) and take it back to anton for a reward of 500 caps (1200 if speech skill deturmins)

Objective 2 (optional)- upon approaching sulden, he greets you with refuge and attempts to persuade you that anton is lying and offers you uneque armor of the ace black combat armor with white hand pained spade on left brest plate and ace writen on back in white (big guns+2 small guns+3 repair +5) and 300 caps to terminate the scum who killed his brother.

Plot- in a small settlement west of new vegas, a small group (7 members) of hevily armored and hevey weponed hunters (the 9 diamonds) request your assistance as one of there former members (sulden) has stolen anton (leader of the pack's) gun, butterfly kiss and killed another member as he disbandoned the pack. anton expresses how much the wepon ment to him and remenisses of 'that time he hit a handgrenade in mid air, blowing up a pack of ferel gouls'. as far fetched as this accusation sounds you accept and venture into the hevily supermutant infested new vegas to hunt down the roullet raders. you battle your way arround the desolate streets of new vegas picking up on various clues to the rrs whereabouts. they are holled up in 'big boys bad cassino'. this well protected building is home to 30 raiders and sulden, the rr leader and former 9 diamonsds member. sulden greets you and offers you shelter for the night. after refusal you explain the sennario and are given the option to kill the remaining members of the 9 diamonds and return the diamond ring on antons finger as proof of the deed. then you can either kill Anton and the 9diamonds or the roullete raiders.

tell me what you think and let me know what your ideas are because you never know....bethesda is watching!
i don't even know which part of this to make fun of. *mind blown*

Why would a hand gun enhance our sneak?

Why are they called the 9 diamonds if there's onl 7 of them...

Why is everything a reference to card games?

I really didn't like that no matter how you palyed ME1, or how your charcter was in ME2, you were still cerberus's bitch....

Seriously!! In ME1 you could tell people to fuck off, you weren't doing the quest, but in 2 best you had was, Let me Think about it....

As for the NPC sex..it was okay in 1 because the plot was deeply detailed, and you did grow to become somewhat attached to the npcs. In 2 however it was like Bam boom Pow. Wanna have sex!?!? OKAY!!! Now let's go save the world while I run the chance of killing everyone in my crew!!!!

No right-minded man wants a wife. Are you some kind of communist homosexual covering up your communism by buying a car and your homosexual by getting married?
