Since Bethesda decided to make Fallout 3, we figured we might as well have a forum about it.

Who was your absolute most favorite character you encountered in Fallout 3?
Mine was by far Herbert "Daring" Dashwood. In my opinion he's the only truly interesting person in the game. I always wished there were more speech choices with him.

I liked seeing Harold, even though he was a tree.

He was an asshole. Every time I killed him, he just came back to life. He was awfully afraid of the super mutants 'Nail in Board', though.

All the characters in Fallout 3 were one-dimensional. The only effort put into the writing for any of them were the president and Abraham Washington.

I agree. Lots of the characters could have been so cool if they had more to say. It seems like all of their speech is only to progress the story, not build the atmosphere. Only a handful actually felt like real people.

This is kinda like asking, "what's your favorite type of cancer?"

She dies right at the beginning and thus doesn't have to suffer through the rest of the game.
