Mysterious Stalker: In combat, there is a slight chance that the Mysterious Stranger comes out of nowhere to lend a helping hand. But he sometimes comes in situations in which he is unwanted...
Unlimited Diet: With this trait you can pretty much eat anything you want and still retain nutritional value from everything from dirt to guns. But you suffer from -2 Charisma because most people don't like people that eat shit.

Reminded me of Metal Gear Solid Four. If this happened, I'd buy the potentially obscenely priced collect0z Ed. just to sit it in a glass case. That way I could remember the day many gamers sat stunned in front of the game wondering what do to, learning a thing or two for a change.Yonmanc wrote:Van Buren Perk: Changes the whole game to a finished version of van Buren
Appearing stupid is sexier than being stupid. Although I hear stoopid was a cut perk in fallout three, but was abandoned when the devs found out it could be simulated by simply playing the game...

Perk: Roberto
Gives you +25 melée when attacking robots as well as +1 Charisma and +10 sneak; perfect for all those looters and stabbers out there, plus knowing Bethesda there will undoubtedly be a plethora of slot machine and hooker robots to satisfy all those 12 year old tardos out there looking for ceks and splozionz.
You know what though, it might be more brutal if it were a Roberto bobble head instead of a perk...

Trait:
Cynical
Through experience, you've learned that you can't trust anyone or take anything at face value. You can spot a bad sales pitch from a mile away, though unfortunately nobody else takes your suspicions seriously.
Highlights lies in conversation, much the same way empathy did with reactions. Adds a substantial bonus to Barter, or maybe have it run on Speech if it's higher. Makes all initial character reactions negative by a good figure, say -40% or more.
Other than that, would be a good nod to DAC.

Sure, an endless supply of them. But I'm feeling more and more intent on pushing the Cynical trait the more I think about it. It's harmless enough not to require a fuckload of work to implent, and it's a decent balance between easter-egg and non-intrusive gameplay element. Any suggestions on how I should push it into developer spotlight, alternatively reasons not to?
