As I relax in front of the TV after a busy week in Los Angeles, I thought I’d share some pics from the show floor of our E3 2010 booth. Most of them were taken before press started filing into the booth, as it was “all hands on deck” as soon as the show started.

I really just cringe at these video game 'journalists' who go up to Avellone and Sawyer w/ follow up questions starting with "Oh and in Oblivion, but like I remember in fallout 3, but like, Oblivion, but like Bethesda..."

when the real American video game journalist should be saying "But like, Fallout, like Fallout 2, Like what happened to The Master, but like what do you think about Marvin as a future gang boss in surrounding Nevada territory? Will we see him in New Vegas?" Is there like a drug epidemic like there was in like New Reno several years ago in Fallout time?" etc...

These people are so fucking stupid and mindless. Why would you not bring up Fallout 1 and 2. Why are they constantly avoiding this subject. FALLOUT 3 WAS THE BLACK SHEEP OF THE FRANCHISE YOU FUCKING IDIOT NOT THE ORIGINAL FALLOUT THAT STARTED THE SERIES. My God

The journalists are god awfull. But I can tell you it's a tough market to be a journalist in. I have a few contacts and study journalism myself and the only way to get the really good prieviews and early demos is to suck up. Sadly. If you're like not super known. Ofcourse if you a longer time show true integrity then the people who actually make good games suck up to you but it's tough to make it there.

Still E3 ass licking swell guy take the price.

Sorta liked the thing in the big screenie btw.

Yeah ofcourse, in that way it differs to MTV : ) Sometimes there's actually something there to take a sneak peak on!

It is the biggest fair for "tis computer" stuff. Would love to go there once but it's almost always in Germany or the US, right?

Should come to Sweden once :p We got the biggest LAN here ffs!
E3 + Dreamhack  At the same time/place.

glad for the pics, but seriously, to hell with E3.

E3 showcases what is wrong and broken in the gaming industry today - a bunch of developers, producers, distributors, etc circle-jerking over their latest mastahpeace that *maybe* is half finished, won't come out for at least six months (usually), and is the equivalent of a movie trailer.

Let me tell you something you already know about movie trailers - they almost ALWAYS make the movie look good. Cloverfield? I would just about kill my mother to see that movie, based on the trailer. Actual film? Motion sickness, not to mention motion sickness after eating shit.

When I play the game at home, I don't have a 5 meter tall dinosaur and a chain link fence in my living room to help with the atmosphere of the game.

If you game isn't good without gimmicks and IRL atmosphere, quit making it, because IT IS FUCKING TERRIBLE.

Portal 2 looks pretty solid, but then again what Valve game, in all honesty, isn't?
