I kind of wished I played some of these board games as a kid as they sound like they would have been like fun but I doubt I would have ever read the instructions and it would have been too complicated. Only games we really played was checkers(because I didn't and still don't know how to play chess), jenga, yatzee, and uno.
Perhaps I will buy Risk and ask my friends if they want to sleep over and play it.

that's why you should play them as adult i didn't really play board games as a kid except all the usual shit ones and now there's like starcraft and doom board games and stuff and it's all next-gen and xbawks yet still better than any of the recent computer games i've playedPOOPERSCOOPER wrote:I kind of wished I played some of these board games as a kid as they sound like they would have been like fun but I doubt I would have ever read the instructions and it would have been too complicated.

Hit me up and I'll give you the full scoop.POOPERSCOOPER wrote:(because I didn't and still don't know how to play chess)
There's also a good page for continuous risk-like games in different settings, that's fairly hassle free and fun:
http://www.conquerclub.com
You'd need a fairly active group for it, but if everyone's there at the same time you've certainly got a game going. Anybody interested?
