DML for DAC at NYCC

So I just got the word today that I have received a press pass for the NYCC 2010, representing DAC. My question now is what exactly should I do at the convention. My original intent with attending was to meet with folks to review my portfolio, but it occurred to me that I could try getting in as a press guy so I filled out the application and was 'Shock and Awe' accepted as a journalist.

My question to you guys is what you think i should do to represent DAC at this convention? I was thinking of scoping out post-apoc related stuff and writing stuff up about those projects. I also have it in my head to possibly do a podcast from the show for the few folks who might tune in. Anyway, let me know if you guys have any ideas. I think I might be the first official DAC representative to appear at any event ever :under pressure:

What type of convention is it? I think you should do some ridiculous over the top stuff in the name of DAC like moon the crowd. If you did do a podcast I would listen out of morbid curiosity too.

Do your best to act as sophisticatedly vulgar as you can.

But really, the best representation of DAC is for you to just act like your regular self because in the end that's all we are, regular dudes with loud opinions.

Don't go over the top. Otherwise it'll be much more unlikely for DAC to get press passes in the future.

But yes, 'sophisticated vulgarity' sounds quite fine.

And try to pick up some insider info on your way out, mmkay?

Definitely take pictures. It might be a good idea to get an MP3 recorder thingy so you can conduct exclusive interviews and all that. Oh.. and design a DAC t-shirt to wear and represent your homies

The comic cons in nyc always smell like piss. I've been to a few. Piss smell everywhere. It's like a haze of piss.

It's not until October, so if a few other local DACers commit to going I'll be there. Any CT people wanna meet up at Union Station in New Haven? I can be your bodyguard in the dangerous city.

UPDATE: So I wanna stay for the entire weekend but hotel costs are in the $500 range. If anyone wants to room with my sister and I let me know. We can split the costs. Just holla at ya boy, and don't try to murder us in our sleep.
