Mad Max turns into a double feature

Mad Mad: Fury Road is turning into a two-parter of sorts. From <a href="http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/17657/ ... max-">Dark Horizons</a>:

While that sounds like a reasonable explanation, more dubious is the second film's apparent working title - "Mad Max: Furiosa". The two films are also allegedly going to be released very close to each other.

Can't wait for some new Mad Max!! These films are legendary.

Plus, I heard Weta Workshop will be doing their work on them!

I wish they had Mel, though.

It's kind of bold to do a double feature like this for a franchise that hasn't gotten a sequel in 25 years and wasn't some super blockbuster franchise.

It just means :cliffhanger: followed by :dramatic conclusion:. Definitely bold, but, it's been in the works for so damn long at this point that they could have literally been on the second or third sequel if it HAD been a success.

When I acknowledge his existence, I appreciate his fondness for the inclusion of scenes depicting the torture of the characters he portrays. Because I have grown to despise all that he represents. And then I forget.

Yeah, he took some time off acting, but now he's back. Plus, he continues to direct as well.
