Saying that the Israelis are the new Nazis is not name calling, it is simply a historical comparison.the guardian wrote:now for identifying them, you know, the "palastinians" we've decided to place a green half moon, the old yellow magen david is getting kinda old fashion, dont you think?
A) Very ignorant
b) Very stupid
C) Very Fascist.
I dont care what anyone says, Isreal was the Jew's right, and muslims should not be destroying themselves and others with the "this is our land" excuse. Isreal, at least, would allow religious freedome if granted control over palistine.
Also, Palistinians started mass suicide bombings a few weeks ago. The Isrealies gave curfews and several other "opressive" measures.
Only 2 bombings have hit in the last month and a 1/2.
Both of them where on a jewish holy day.
(C is because fascists will side with anyone over Jews)

Okay, I feel this is a good time to throw out my iews on the Israel/Palestine deal:
1. It's mostly our fault. The land was the Palestinians, but we pretty much ignored that wee little fact when we gave it ot the Israelis. Needless to say, wars have been started for less.
2. The Israelis are overreacting. The impression I get from the US News (I read Time and watch CNN occasionally) is that, well, let me just show you a hypothetical situation.
PALESTINIANS: Suicide bomber kills two, injures several.
ISRAELIS: Helicopter strike on Palestinian settlement, kills three, wounds many.
Also, as someone pointed out, the Israelis hold up ambulances that hold wounded Palestinians at checkpoints. Now, I can see how the incident with the terrorists hiding in an ambulance could leave a hideously bad taste in the Israeli's mouth, but really, is that called for?
3. The Palestinians have nothing left. Do you know why the Palestinians are resorting to suicide attacks? They're hopelessly outclassed. Rocks and AK47s compared to [the name of the standard issue Israeli rifle escapes me] and tanks. Suicide attacks and guerilla warfare is all they have left.
I'm pretty neutral on the subject, leaning a bit towards the Palestinians (I have an underdog complex. So sue me). Those are my opinions, and I'm sticking to them unless someone can convince me otherwise.

1. our fault, as in, britian, right? yep, your bad which i thank for everyday... know whats funny though? the initial plan, phil commity, wanted the split this place population wise(before we were the majority) , so it went something like 20% israel, 80% palastine, and the holy places to be kept under britian supervision(meaning it wont be given to neither side)... we agreed, and they disagreed, hehe...
we already had a discussion on this subject once if im right...
2.we do overreact sometimes, but what can i do? dont explode in a bus, and we wont bomb you back nah, but on the serious side, its what the people want, a good retaliation everytime someone explodes
and yes, it is necciserly, if it happand once, it will happand again, and we cant take the chance... but we dont stop all of them, problem is, when there's a rookie in the gate, he doesnt know weather to allow or not to allow the entry... need more experianced soldiers who know what to do in this case
3.yep, true, they got nothing left, but it can be prevented if they had a decent goverment who acully want to aid their economical state instead of enticing them into more feeling of revenge... the "left" side in our country claim that we should aid them economicly, raise their quality of life, and then, they'll stop exploding... fat chance for that to happand here  i think we'd rather raze them then do that, heh, irony...
ah yes, and as for rambo... he's a bit more agressive on the case then i do, lets not start flames
btw, rambo, i was in the dolfinarioum explosion... about 200m from the place, thought my friends are there, fucking scary shit
EDIT
on cnn(this is for rambo): they're not just showing their side, they just prefer to focus on their side, higher rating, plus cnn has some arab funding sources... didja see the arafat call? man i laughed hard...

The "they stole our land" argument is pretty bogus. The whole area has pretty much just been tossed around from empire to empire for the last 2000 years and nobody really cared much until now. A lot of the Israelis were also living there at the time and had poured a lot of hard work into making the area prosperous. Most of the Palestinians (a term that never existed until well after Israel was established) at the time were at best second-generation immigrants from other Arab countries. If the other Arab countries would have let their own people back rather than let them rot, there wouldn't be any Palestinians. Once Israel was established, a lot of them eagerly booted out all the Jews in their countries and told them to hoof it to Israel. Are they giving "right of return" the the Jews they kicked out now? A whole lot of the state-sponsored sympathy in the Arab world for the Palestinian plight is to keep the people distracted from problems at home. If the Arab states really cared, they'd let the Palestinians immigrate into their own countries for a chance at a new life rather than leave them where they are. Fat chance that's going to happen, though.

there was a man called "rehavao ze avi" knowen as "gandi"
he was a minister in our goverment till he got killed by the peace loving palestinians
he tought a bout this idea too but no arab country wants them
if you wanna shoot. shoot! dont talk!!!
Um.. "at best second-generation"? I recall all the israelis saying that the land belongs to them, because they lived there before they were banished the first time (including the epic story of the Babel Tower and stuff). All those holes left between the "israeli regime"-periods are filled with arabs, am I right?Walks with the Snails wrote:The "they stole our land" argument is pretty bogus. So there are decades, maybe even centuries old families in the so called Palestinia.
And why aren't any one of them defending themselves here on these boards?
Well, maybe because isralis are so fucking wealthier that they actually can afford to buy computers
Doesn't that tell something about the "Ak47 + rocks VERSUS M16 + tanks"-thingy already?
Then how would you react after such attacks? Whether you approve Israel’s methods or not, they are given very little choice but to react harshly after suicide attacks.2. The Israelis are overreacting.
PALESTINIANS: Suicide bomber kills two, injures several.
ISRAELIS: Helicopter strike on Palestinian settlement, kills three, wounds many.
Not really. This is overly simplistic. Palestinian terrorists deliberately target anyone in Israel. Israel responds to this by trying to target the terrorists, or people supporting them. Unfortunately innocent people get killed too. But at least Israel is actually trying not to hurt innocents, as opposed to deliberately killing them.
Well, it's difficult to ascertain how common this is, given the lack of objectivity shown by many reporters. Also, as someone pointed out, the Israelis hold up ambulances that hold wounded Palestinians at checkpoints. Now, I can see how the incident with the terrorists hiding in an ambulance could leave a hideously bad taste in the Israeli's mouth, but really, is that called for?
No, the main reasons why the Palestinians resort to suicide attacks is hate. It may be disguised as many other things, but you only have to look at picture like that show below to see the hatred:3.
The hatred is somewhat propaganda fueled, and extends further than the West Bank and Gaza.
And, if they would care to bring themselves to a position where negotiation is possible (i.e. stopping the terrorists), the Palestinians could achieve so much for themselves. It's not in the interest of anyone to see the Palestinians suffer, and this includes Israel.
Well of course the Palestinians deserve support. But it's not as one sided as you seem to imply.I'm pretty neutral on the subject, leaning a bit towards the Palestinians (I have an underdog complex. So sue me). Those are my opinions, and I'm sticking to them unless someone can convince me otherwise.

hmmm i rather buy a palestian slave.......that is the new hobby for the evil jewzWell, maybe because isralis are so fucking wealthier that they actually can afford to buy computers

Talking about hatred... At least ALL and I mean all isralis I've met either online or ITRW hate arabs. They hate them more than anything in the world.
That combined with the "super-power" kind of strenght when compared to the *terrorist* forces means one big fucking mess.
The official isreali commenting on TV is pure crap. No one of them wants peace among the people - they just want an ethnic cleancing. The less arabs the better in their opinion

Forget Ak47s and rocks. CTAP is what you should have put in their place, but I doubt you know what it is, especially given your obvious bias.Doesn't that tell something about the "Ak47 + rocks VERSUS M16 + tanks"-thingy already?
What you fail to do here is make a distinction between a kid chucking a rock at some soldiers and someone blowing up a bus full of people on their way to work/school. Its not right to ignore this latter aspect and then attribute the Israeli military response to it to the kids with the stones.
Well I'm glad you take such a well thought out and balanced view. Have you considered actually forming an opinion of your own, rather than believing without question a single polarised view?Talking about hatred... At least ALL and I mean all isralis I've met either online or ITRW hate arabs. They hate them more than anything in the world.
Look at a map. Observe how small Israel is. Then do some quick research on the state of the Israeli economy on a decent news website, for example try:That combined with the "super-power" kind of strenght when compared to the *terrorist* forces means one big fucking mess.
http://news.bbc.co.uk
Then look at all the international support that groups like Hamas enjoys. In fact look at Hamas in more detail, see how they use their peaceful activities to generate support for violence?
Well, I suppose it's quite natural for them to want bloodshed and suffering. Perhaps, if you are going to propose such viewpoints you should back them up with some thought and reasoning? Otherwise *plonk*The official isreali commenting on TV is pure crap. No one of them wants peace among the people

on the subject of "this land is ours from the bible"
i dont support that arguement, because the only proof is based on belief see? bible may or may not be true. no, instead, i rather focus on the fact that we got this place thanx to britian
james: the real problem is that terrorists tend to hide in civilian houses... sometimes, even in kindergardens, because they know we wont bomb that sorta places... so, there's a conflict: what can you do? not retaliate(and get kicked because your people demend a retaliation), or retaliate(and risk hurting civilians, and kids too)... its a tough choice, but we try to do the best
rambo... dont mock kashluk, he's not anti- sementic, i tried to explain to you that... but he makes good arguements, best we can do is try to explain our side...
kashluk: wrong, we're not all about "burn them right now for exploding in our towns", some are pretty passive about it,(left-right sides)... and dont forget, tv likes that kind of people: higher rating
