Re: Fav Death Animation
MY Overseer didn't get cut in half cleanly, his left half was bursted, the remaining half fall on the ground and crawl like a worm. :2gunfire:Slider wrote:What is your favorite death animation?
Mine is something getting cut in half by the Laser Rifle although killing the Overseer was very gratifying.
To the soul's desire
the body listens
What the flesh requires
keeps the heart imprisoned
What the spirit seeks the mind will follow
When the body speaks all else is hollow

When the body speaks all else is hollow

The best was when I hit the Overseer with Turbo Plasma Rifle and he survived the shot!! The combat turn ended, game exited the combat and my character pulled a Desert Eagle by him self and shot the Overseer and then he bursted to half and started to crawl to the Vault.
I don't know why the game decided to take control and shoot the Overseer with the Deagle, but hey! I don't complain. It was so darn funny!
To think that the Overseer survived a shot from TPR....
Did you know that the Overseer is immortal when he sits on his chair? I once tried to kill him. I used miniguns, rocket launcher, TPR, alien blaster... and couldn't even do damage. He was always hit for no damage.

If you hit 'A' as the Overseer is walking away after giving his I'm a pussy and don't want to lose everyone in the vault to you speech, you can use any weapon on him. But you will get the same death animation as you would have gotten if you killed him automatically if you had beserker or bloody mess traits.

I mean after you kill the Overseer but yeah they(the vaulties) get mad at you if you use them as target dummies, who wouldn't. And probably when you sell them out to Lou, but you don't get to play/interact after that ending/movie.
It's just kind of ironic that you kill off their asshole of a leader and they want to kill you instead of making you leader for saving their collective sorry asses.

Well, look it. One of his cronies (the PC) could convince the most radical faction to stay and trust him, why couldn't he do that to the rest? I mean, bullshitting people is his job. You think he would be quite good at it after thirty some odd years...
Yeah, I kinda figured that you would be able to play after joining Lou. Would be very hard to implement though... and than there is the issue of choosing it, but I am sure people would go through every way instead of just going down the easy path by joining Lou.
