True but aren't there two potential quest choices?gobbleykins wrote:if he returned it would go against canon of fallout 3 (harold was in FO3; he was a tree) and beth wouldn't let that happen I highly doubtMehar wrote:Sounds interesting, cool layout for the "brochure".
Probably not sure fire confirmation of the return of Harold from the looks of it?
Spoilers!
One is you kill him and the other you leave him to his fate?
It's been a while since I've played Fallout 3 and I think I only reached the Oasis once. In the grand scheme of things though it really depends on the lawsuit and how it plays out. I believe the contract that was released in an 8K filing by Interplay said something about Bethesda having final say in what's in the game so you could be right.

Since when is FO3 canon?gobbleykins wrote:if he returned it would go against canon of fallout 3 (harold was in FO3; he was a tree) and beth wouldn't let that happen I highly doubtMehar wrote:Sounds interesting, cool layout for the "brochure".

Fo3 and FOO are two different animals with no immediate relation. Though they are both based in the universe created in fallouts 1 and 2, they are not inter-related. Both have a different story of what happened after.
In other words. Both can suck in distinct and horrible ways....not that I'm pessimistic or anything.

Life is like cheap whiskey, it's mostly bad, and leaves a shitty taste in your mouth, but it's better then nothing.

I know its easy to just bash F3 cannon, but All of you kids' "since when is F# cannon, WTF?" retardation aside....gobbleykins wrote:if he returned it would go against canon of fallout 3 (harold was in FO3; he was a tree) and beth wouldn't let that happen I highly doubtMehar wrote:Sounds interesting, cool layout for the "brochure".

Would really depend on the time setting for FOOL, huh?
