Fallout: New Vegas has been officially released! Early reports are coming in that the game has a very Fallout 2 feel, and that the PC version at least is largely free of game-crashing bugs. The Xbox version has a variety of issues, including a memory leak that can be fixed by clearing the cache. I don't know about the PS3 version yet, but if Fallout 3 was any indication then this version is probably completely unplayable.

So what are the technical issues mentioned in your other thread KoC? Wel they aren't mentioned by you but I am just wondering if you know.
If they aren't game-crashing ones that is.
Usually technical issues do not entail gameplay bugs such as missing dialouge, etc.
edit: Seems the early reports were incorrect if I am to judge by the later reviews you posted?

Yes, but it seems that those who play it on the PC experience few, if any, game crashing bugs. The bugs are being primarily reported on the Xbox.Username wrote:edit: Seems the early reports were incorrect if I am to judge by the later reviews you posted?

I'm not even sure the stores here will have it yet. I would download it off of Steam, but the internet is so god-awful-slow in this part of the world that it would take me until Christmas to download.

Funny story - Best Buy won't have it in until 2 PM at the latest. Hopefully they have it in before and give me a call like they promised, but I doubt it.King of Creation wrote:I'm not even sure the stores here will have it yet.
