Things in New Vegas that drive my crazy!

But not really, more as in why the fuck....

-Why does perception only effect energy weapons and not guns? Was it always like that or just in FO3 and/or New vegas? How come agility effects guns but not energy weapons?

-Why does strength only effect the melee skill and not unarmed? Why does endurance only effect unarmed but strength doesn't?

-I'm hoping to god that strength only effects melee and unarmed but I get the feeling that it effects all damage, is that true?

I hope these are just changes in New vegas and I didn't overlook them in the originals. Either way the character creation system is really lacking with SPECIAL I think or atleast it does now.

I think this would make a really good interview with JE sawyer but I'm pretty sure DAC and I are blacklisted at Obsidian.

I always had a problem with effect and affect. One day I will actually research it and learn it. I think its because my english teacher kept marking mine wrong even though I thought they were right.

tl;dr "affect" is a verb and "effect" is a noun. [Except when they can be used as the opposite, which is why the English language sucks.]

Also, it was an FO3 change, presumably to encourage people to distribute stats and not stack them, I'd imagine, I honestly can't really imagine why it was done, I wasn't a fan of it.

I think I get it, it's just always been hard for me because sometimes I feel like the word in a sentence could be both a noun and a verb.

Also, I just realized that those changes were in EFFECT since FO3.
