Green Hornet in 3d

Post by POOPERSCOOPER »

So it's a comic book movie about a comic book I never heard of or read, and a TV series I never heard of or read but I heard that Bruce Lee was in the TV series. It stars Seth Rogen (Pinapple Express, etc) who lost weight and stuff and an asian pop star dude. Also has the guy from Inglorious Bastards who played the jew hunter.

So the movie is about the rich son of a guy who dies and then uses all his dads money and power to be a crime fighter with the help of his Asian friend who does all the work and knows kung fu. The movie is a comedy and plays with all the cliches from super hero movies. It has some funny stuff but nothing you would really laugh out loud at but might smirk a bit and say "that's cute". The Asian dude has some type of power that he can see weapons like a terminator and slow down time to a crawl to the point I can't tell if they are trying to be serious or be funny. The action is done fairly well and doesn't have tons of shaky cam and I believe it has a lot to do with the experience of the director.

My theory is that inexperienced action directors make better action movies is because they don't completely understand the work that goes into making a good action scene so they do what they think is the most logical which results in a steady camera and better angles. Experienced directors get lazy and realize how much work it is to do good action scenes so decide to just shake the camera really hard and call it a day.

Overall the movie was better than I thought it was going to be but not enough to openly recommend it to people. If you have spare time and nothing else to see, it's not a bad movie. The 3d is useless as always but there were more 3d times listed than 2d and also 3d in none imax screen is actually a bit better because you get much better quality glasses.

I suspect many people probably hate Seth Rogen, I can just tell he is one of those types that people can really hate like some other comedians.

I've never seen a "new" 3 D movie, but it appears to be as AWESOME as 3D periodically was in the 50s... and 60s.... and 70s... and 80s.... and 90s.... I see a pattern. :prosper:

Also I might watch the movie when it comes out on Loombo/Megavideo.

I like Seth Rogan. I think he's a good actor who has the misfortune of being typecasted like Jack Black and Will Ferrel, which is a shame because they're all pretty good.

I've heard the movie was good from a friend of mine, might go see it now since it more or less its Pooperscooper approved.

I think 3d is pretty much here to stay. Since people keep freejackin shit off torrentscreamz.org.uk the only way to make decent big bux is to make the film 3d as it makes it more of a spectacle. my monitor is pretty big now, internet speeds are fast enough that i can download dvdripz in less than an hour sometimes. plus theres 3d tv on its gay little way.

I suppose the main driving force behind home entertainment has mostly been the best form of home entertainment, wanking. when they release enough porn in 3d itll decide the tru chosen one format. preferably without glasses in case you like wearing masks and shit. glasses-less 3d exists already but only from certain angles and distances, im guessing itll be knockin about by 2015 at a conservative guess. hollaback in 4 years if my account/the site hasnt been deleted and prove me wrong B) plz

ps i dont dig 3d whats the chuffin point. like sayin that e-books are going to kill paper books or whatever yeah right HNFFF

Seth Rogen is miserable. I hate his jerk-off face and his jerk-off attitude. Jack Black and Will Ferrel had their day, but I always despised seth rogen. His dad was a Ghostbuster/ director so he obviously started getting gigs because of daddy.

His shit all seems improvised and I don't mean that in a good way. Like he just showed up and jerk-offedly assumed he would make up all his lines and people would laugh anyway cuz they're jerk-offs too. No offense SD, but yeah, you're a jerkoff. Please accept my friend request.

Also, 3-D is obviously still a fad that's just made its way around again. Like bell bottoms, which were big in the seventies and then had a short revival in the mid-90's.

ANd anyone purchasing 3-D tvs is an obvious dickweed. I foresee it causing massive eye problems because its fucking with our eyes. The end.

As long as they remake Rez/whatnot in 3d...I'll be happy. That game was meant for 3d.
...signatures? WTF?
