Mega Shark v. Crocosaurus
lol'd.
Apparently a sequel to Mega Shark v. Giant Octopus, this has none of the original cast (likely the best direction to salvage their careers), horrible writing and special effects, music that overpowers every scene and often fails to fit appropriately, all sorts of inconsistencies and retardation, but best of all...
Steve Urkel's in it. That's right: Mega Shark v. Crocosaurus was Jaleel White's [Urkel] big comeback. The d-class monster movie with a stolen tagline from the first AVP movie was Urkel's return to glory.
So, if you're near a movie store or in the mood to torrent an overly-serious [to the point of hilarity] piece of shit, invest some time questionably and watch this steaming pile of SHIT.

I never saw the first one but I think my dad has because he always watches the movies on Sy-Fy channel. Was the first one decent in any respect? From the trailer the shark and croc look too big, they should be shrunk a bit.
I wonder how they get actors like Steve Urkel, do they reach out to that specific person who hasn't been seen in forever or do they put out a casting call and the person just happens to reach out at the same time?

Scaling changes constantly in-movie. At times, the shark fin will completely overshadow the battleship, and others, the shark's body will be about the same length as the ship itself (shown when it leaps out of the water and smashes the ship with its tail, breaking off an antennae. This happens twice before the ship is sunk, in reverse frames of the same content.)
People need to get fed, I guess. That seems to be the only reason why Urkel found his way into the series. I doubt the first was any better, though, considering the entire cast of #1 said fuck it and had to be replaced. The link to its trailer is in the related videos of the trailer link I posted.
But again, as far as sizing goes, waaaay off. Youtube videos on the subject say something along 40-80 ft long for the shark, 40 ft for the croc.
Also, spoiler alert: Urkel's final line is: "What a croc."

Any giant shark that can eat submarines whole and fly up and destroy Boeing 747s is (apparently) not to be fucked with.Tofu Man wrote:So wait, that means Mega Shark beat the Giant Octopus? Bullcrap. Same actress, same monster, also another actor who was in another giant shark movie as well as a rather tragic depiction of black culture

You really should have put a spoiler tag on it, Manoil. Now I don't need to watch a cinematic masterpiece because I know how it ends.Tofu Man wrote: So wait, that means Mega Shark beat the Giant Octopus?

I can probably add some perspective to this discussion.
SPOILER ALERT:
MegaShark vs. Giant Octopus ended with the two of them sinking to the bottom of the ocean with a nuclear warhead attached to them or something. It was implied that both were blown up, but I guess we were all DEAD wrong.

Edit:
I watched Dance of the Dead. I expected it to roughly on par with the super hit this thread is about but I ended up being positively surprised. I'm not saying it's a masterpiece of the zombie genre, but it does a solid job for what it is.
