Winamp MIDI effects

Post by Alister McFap II Esq. »

Is there some plugin that provides some kind of midi control over some kind of effects in winamp... or some other music player? I would really like to add some freestyle frequency sweeps sometimes to cut to a different tune.

Anyone of you aware of anything like this? Or some kind of mixing software? I never looked into DJ software coz that's for pussies, but if it has some kind of freestyle FX, then fuck yeah. I'd go for it.

its not what youre asking for LOL but the closest thing winamp has built in is crossfading next to the equalizer bar. otherwise you might have to download audacity and make some megamixx i guess.

Cheers, but not quite what I wanted.

I don't want to make no megamix. I just want to be awesome occasionally.

I could route my sound output through cubase or FL studio and just use whatever effect I feel like using, but this involves dedication, of which I have none left spare.

they say that where there's a will there's a way perhaps you could learn something from that.

Dude, i was actually looking for the same thing not to long ago, but i gave up looking for something like that..
So i came to the conclusion i would have to route sound using a virtual line in and detecting it with FL and then doing some crazy shit when a song that i wanted to mess with came on... but i never got around to it.
Anyways, i heard that using the virtual line thing does work. I think its called a Virtual Audio Cable..
