dac con 2012

So anyways, shouldn't we have a true dac con? We've talked about it and dreamt about it, but nevar had one. I'm thinking we could plan one for 2012, prefferably somewhere. But where?
Suggestions?
Dreddy could host it I suppose since he's from the east which is kindda papoc. Also I guess that anything megs hosts would be apocalyptic.

As I remember we've got a good number of American northwest inhabitants. But seriously, geographically this is one widespread forum. Any meeting of a good number of people would be very expensive for most and difficult to coordinate.

What kind of activities would there be at DaC Con '12? KY jelly wrestling? A Beauty Pageant? Recreational Chemotherapy? I personally volunteer to lecture for an hour or five discussing a to-be-determined topic.

We were gonna go to Vegas with Julie last weekend, but there were some complications and it didn't happen. Other than that, it's just Starcraft these days

Like has already been said it would be really hard to get everyone to one location since we are so wide spread. I do like hearing stories of you guys meeting up and doing stuff. Remember when St. toxic and that other dude went to some con and made a video of it years later? They were about to sleep under and overpass because they got lost or something.

I'm thinking a long weekend, friday-monday, so hotel cost shouldn't be more than 300-400€. Less probably. If using a cheap airline I'd think that one'd get away with 200-300€ in travel cost add 200€ to spend on whatever and we're at max 900€ which shouldn't take more than two months to save, and we've got more than a year. What to do? Drinking is fun. Mebbe some fun ang games, paintball, women.
I guess we should avoid clashing with the euro 2012 tho.

Maybe have two simultaneous get togethers, one in the US for us over here, and one in Europe for you guys over there, then we all live chat between one another for a little while to get the whole site together, that way each region can do something with (reasonably) nearby members.
