It's pretty close up, it's taken with a webcam. Check the 1st page to see a bigger, but glossier picture of it. As I said, except for the "wooden" handle it's all matte/satin now to look less like pulled out of Snake's ass.

I thought it was a picture of your pistol but you sorta said you drew inspiration from both of them. But I mean it can't a normal picture of it, rightA photograph so to speak?
That's why I asked if you designed it to (in Photoshop or Pixeleditor or something). This since the color is completely different. I like the one in the small picture alot more anyway.
It's kinda lame to shit over someone who tries to give you a compliment to dude, didn't your mother teach you any manners?
The small picture = 10 mm Pistol from Fallout 1. The ACTUAL icon from the game.
The larger picture = my painted NERF gun, turned into something similar like an ingame icon to underline the fact that I indeed took inspiration from weather down weapons, such as in the Fallout games, as I painted mine.
If you'd read the title of the thread and all the pages in it, you'd stop asking IN2 questions.
Regarding the metal studs:
I thought about sanding them down, but I left them. Now it's too late. I gave them an extra highlight of brighter metallic paint (mithril silver) in order to make it look like they're polished from all the constant use in the post apoc wasteland. (I did the same on the trigger, but it's less apparent).

I've obtained a new NERF gun (NERF Stampede - A$ 59) for another project. I might even get a 2nd one coz my gurl wants one too. (foreplay with NERF guns anyone?)
I'll give it the old drab green like the heavy machine gun I did not too long ago.
Alternatively I could go for the FAMAS look...
...or maybe the Steyr AUG look (which in essence would be an alternative version of the drab green paint job).
And I ebayed on of those...
...to achieve this.
Those picatinny bipod/handle things are pretty useful but look gay, and are fortunately removable.
