It's basically Bioshock 3's trailer with less whiny sidekick and more dubstep and just as much scripting. What I'd call a facepalm headache. The persuadatron bit (?) is particularly obnoxious.
Oh and here, this might be of interest to ya (SFW, I swear).

I SAW YOU MARVEL.
Oh look at that L.A.N.o.i.r.e. is PC bound.
Also, Geralt 2.0. It's pretty good. No more bomb induced control locks, thus far. Woo.

Oh no Lenore, get your panties out the draw'rs of yore. Alas poor limerick.
Mr. Matt Barton of Mattchat fame recommends you download the mp3. I'd tell you lot to give it a whirl. The first third of the podcast is like a perfect ye olde gamer's lament over the state of the industry.
A-fucking-men.

on IGN's "Deus Ex (and Game Narratives) Drop a Deuce" and the reboots of XCOM and Syndicate(...) The part of it that gets to me is this part at the end, he says "What we need—what we all crave—are stories that tap into real humanity, stories that drive their ever-developing characters toward climaxes that challenge them as people, providing a resolution that means something. If we ever hope to see the quality of narrative in games improve, it’s time to stop pretending that Deus Ex: Human Revolution and others like it fulfill these duties. It’s time for games to drop the plots and start telling stories."
How about this: It's time for games to be fucking games again! I'm sick to death of these game developers trying to pretend like they're movie producers. (...)
A-fucking-men.

The mechwarrior gameplay video is actually a few years old. They've been in some legal trouble and the game's production has been really slow, but just from that video I have consistently been getting a good vibe from it, so yeah that's one thing to look forward to.
However, discovering that its multiplat on the 360 doesn't help, either.

So is anyone going to get Dark Souls or Rage? I think I might get Dark Souls because everyone is slobbering for it but Rage looks pretty generic but I assume if the game is so huge in size (20-30gigs) there must be something good on it. Even if it does suck it will have something pretty to look at and runs well.
