@Stainless I'd say so. But Lanius has a more contained and interesting origin story. That, and he's a little more interesting than Caesar, I think.

@Blargh Dude, don't even start me on the Cazadors! FUUUUU-

For some reason right now I'm assuming that its going to be an animated film.

I'm probably way off.

All live action, actually. We'll be recording the voice work for Lanius in LA and then having a performer mime the dialogue on location down here in Australia.

Yeah, basically. The tricky part will be doing the stuff when Lanius was a tribal (as He wont be wearing a helmet). It'll be like doing a reverse spaghetti Western.

That's what I thought, too. Now I'm disappointed because an animated (NOT ANIME) Fallout short would be awesome.

A western animated film would be pretty rad. But, I'm a live action guy, so no dice I'm afraid.

Also, looks like MCA has put out the word on Twitter/ Facebook

It was pretty important early on that I try and get Mitch Lewis involved. It took a bit of work, but we got there. In the game, Lanius is really two things: the cool armor and that excellent voice. Our plan is to bring both to life. Evidently, he's a bunch of other things but you get the idea.

No Mutants in this film, it's all people. And it's all kind of removed from the usual Fallout Tropes. For some info on Lanius, check out the wiki.

We'll be covering his origin story in the film.

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Lanius

From the notes I got from Obsidian, he's basically a force of nature. I want to explore the story of how he came to serve Caesar.

Hey Guys, just an update regarding funding: Thanks for Posting the news, King.

We raised $1000 in our first day and we've been getting heaps of really positive press. Hell, even MCA pledged us some money - so there's that. I know the hardcore Fallout community sometimes get a hard time, but this is a great opportunity to get behind something really special.

Just spreading the word is enough, and if you like the look of what we are doing it would mean a whole lot.

Feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions or feedback. In the end, this is all about the Fans. Your help is really appreciated.
