10 years ago DAC moved to duckandcover.net, don't remember when we switched to .cx (it was because someone forgot to pay the bills IIRC)
The founder of Duck and Cover was someone called Jay. I believe Kreegle ran/owned DAC when it moved from GameSpy to duckandcover.net?
SoulFish was just some server tech dude I think
edit: found this http://www.falloutwiki.com/Duck_and_Cover

People in charge of Duck and Cover
JimmyJay86 (the summer of '04)
That'd be cool to have on DaC permanently, even if some of it seems shaky. For instance, Koc told me 3rd of Jan, not 13th; or about Kreegle being the boss in 03 when when this forum went up the boss apparent was Killzig.Gimp Mask wrote: edit: found this http://www.falloutwiki.com/Duck_and_Cover
Edit- Also, who the hell is editing the page? I could have sworn that
was originally "a Kubric sort of idea" or something. Maybe I was high when I woke up, fuck knows.Killzig had an incredibly stupid idea of giving admin powers to Megatron and Spazmo

Gimpmask is right. We moved to .cx when the site went dark for like a summer and then Darkunderlord took over or something. We refer to the time as the Dark Summer.
JimmyJay86 didn't really do much during the summer we were out besides I think just get the forums up but not the whole site. He blamed it on not having the passwords required. Saint Proverbius came in and brought DU then Teatime to take over.
That wiki that gimpmask posted actually seems fairly accurate. I guess Ausir wrote it?
This is all cool how we have our 10th anniversary (even if it's not) around the same time that Wasteland 2 got funded.

Join us on IRC at #fallout on the gamesurge.net network.
Killzig was definitely an admin back then already and taking care of a lot of Dack stuff, but I'm pretty sure Kreegle owned the domain, paid for the hosting etc. It's been ages though so I could be wrongTofu Man wrote:or about Kreegle being the boss in 03 when when this forum went up the boss apparent was Killzig.
I changed it to say Kubrick today, it seems someone changed it back alreadyEdit- Also, who the hell is editing the page?

I think when Teatime and I took over, we were still at thevats.net. Then it was decided by someone to get the .cx domain in memory of the goatse escapade. I think that was late 2003, maybe 2004?

That wiki article forgets to mention our glorious victory in DU's war of terror.
