Ghost Dog

Laughed out loud when radio critic / competitor of Rangers refered to them as dog killing.

Bobby's dog will never die! :aiee:

I don't like the rotatable camera imo.

Then...Don't rotate it?

I'm sure they have 'lock view' built in.

Looks pretty good, I wasn't expecting much from the game but it looks like they are on the right track. I didn't like how the is like a couple feet high and they have to bust down the door. I don't really like rotating cameras either but it's standard now a days and I can live with it.

I'm loving the fact that they aren't doing voice overs for all the dialog.

Yeah, that. Hearing the same voice over and over again is...tiresome.[/understatement]

I've just noticed...a few times, it sounds like the narrator is definitely saying "meow" instead of "now"...

I like what I'm seeing. I'm liking it a lot. So much so that I wonder just how modular the whole thing will be and the if possibility of it having a decent, easy to use editor isn't gonna fall by the wayside on the back of how good they want it to end up looking. Still, using skills to open doors; General APs; Yay! Also, key word speech system; Ridiculously small enemy vision cones; Boo!

I like the fact that they're working cover into the system but I wish we could have seen a better representation of that, right now the overall tactical elements of the game still seem pretty shallow, not being able to allocate aimed shots to specific body parts, interruptions during enemy attacks, all that.

And I hope the bullets being fired into the screen at the start of combat is just a stand in.

I do like what the game is showing us with this game footage but there needs to be more, and I know it's still in alpha but I don't want this to be another Fallout Tactics, I want it to be like Silent Storm or JA2 tier squad based goodness.

The fact that they're using a hexagonal system, and their CLASSIC system seems pretty cool, though. They just have to remember they're making a turn-based tactical game as well as making an RPG. They can't skimp out on anything in either genre.

Odd, jarring at first...then immediately cheesy.

This reeks of obshittian entertainment.

It's interesting to see how a game resembling fallout more closely than anything in recent memory does not phase dac veterans; most of whom never enjoyed fallout to begin with. They must like the colors of the dac message boards.

Huh. Really? I was pretty sure Fallout being great was the one thing we all agreed upon here.

Absolutely. There was a long period of time when I couldn't stop dreaming about living in the Wastes. Good writing leaves an impact.

Yeah, Macky, I don't know what you're talking about. I'm excited as shit for this to come out. Even asked and got a writeback that they are indeed including a modkit. I'm fucking ecstatic.
