Shit was a horrible roommate situation and I was mired in it because someone I thought was a friend is a pathological liar and I have a soft spot for babies.

Babies are all liars, not sure why you would want a baby as your room-mate. I'm also pretty sure your neighbors thought you were weird living on equal terms with a baby, unless you guys were living in an abandoned building or under a bridge.

I worded that poorly. The pathological liar roommates were the baby's parents and the baby was a baby.
