Chess is an unbalananced board game where the black man is put down by the white privilege of never starting first.
We play correspondence with unlimited time but if the game is dead for 24h with no moves the one who does not play looses.
Games are posted in the thread and anyone who want to play joins the open game by link, anyone else can also click the link to observe the play but if you are first and join a game quote the link.
Score is written after a game.
Don't close the tab of the game if you are playing, you can browse other tabs and stuff but don't close it as it will kick you out of the current match. Play on your phone it's easiest.
Aha! Welcome to the club, if the game is not showing my move then hit refresh, there's a ping down to the left that updates every second, I use it to see if I'm watching the game live!
I hate chess because of my total inability to plan and prepare for future events so I just do whatever and lose and I hate losing too, but I like the idea and the picture, I wish good luck to you gentlemen and may the best man win.
Never was a fan either but playing slow and just placing the pieces so that they are covered is pretty much my whole tactic, I know nothing about tactics, the games become what they become, it's interesting to observe how it plays out.
I must say, even though I'm not a "chess-head" per se, I never realized it was an enjoyable spectator sport rivaling darts, even pool. Just two men doing what they do best, going at each other no holds barred, within the constraints of a well thought out set of rules. 8 x 8 equals the Kumite of minds.
I remember reading that whoever controls the center of the board controls the fight so the blacks are doing good I guess, then again I have no idea what I'm talking about.
