The Coronavirus outbreak goes back before January, but the Chinese refused to acknowledge it. In December I had flu-like symptoms but failed a flu test at my doctor. I got examined later and it turns out I had Coronavirus antibodies. I probably caught it a month before China even said the virus existed. A friend of mine's father had it around the same time, too. We also won't ever know how many people actually died from it there. What's more is the WHO is in China's pocket and won't blame them for it. It's clear that this is a virus that escaped from the Wuhan lab.
To be fair it does say "only showing reported confirmed cases"; but yeah, infographics can be very misleading in a variety of ways. Like, it's a map of the world, yet each red dot is 1 death, looks like black death or something. Flashy lights look pretty though.
Actually, interesting story! When the first lockdowns came I got fairly sick from working in a military base, it was a pretty tough job so could be just weather and stress triggered flu but after that time I have not been sick.
