Bruce Lee with the Master Sword
Well I guess that depends on your definition of "real-sharp". Could they cut a man in half? Maybe. Could they cut a baby in half? Easily. As it is with any good blade, you keep its edge with never-ending sharpening. My whetstone is my art. And my blades wear out as I hone them. Dust to dust. Eventually I end up with just the handles. What can you cut with a handle? That's the real question. A real samurai blade is only as good as its handle, blades are secondary. That's why nunchucks were invented, the ultimate weapon, double handle, double damage, double dragon.munchkin wrote:Oh wow, you have some fine collections there! Are those real-sharp?
Bruce Lee with the Master Sword
I practice my own martial arts by living true to the saying that the pen is mightier than a sword, I have in my alchemical process joined them. My blade opens paper envelopes delivered to me by the hidden messenger. I have my metal box which only I have a key. There are many similar metal boxes but only one matters, that one which is mine. The messenger moves in the shadows. My blade is not sharp. It is the motion of the ocean that matters. I am one with my blade as the cut progresses swiftly, revealing how much debt I am in. Each passing moon I receive more messages.
A true master warrior must be a poet, to kill more effectively. Thats why the T-800 has detailed files stored in its mind.

have you ever feared that other people could read your mind?
so are those fancy swords people collect actually usable, well balanced and deadly? I always assumed they all were just sort of propsWolfman Walt wrote:Fuck no it isn't. I had Stannis Baratheon's "Light Bringer" commissioned two years ago and one day when I get dementia, I'm going on a rampage with it and a handful of flashbangs while only wearing a jock strap.
