prompt: through the wastes I ride; a shotgun by my side; they call me the saviour of the damned; even though from most of the towns I've been banned

Re: AI alerts
Here follows a story created by the artificial mind.
The battlefield was a hellish landscape of smoke, fire, and blood. The opposing sides had been locked in a bitter trench warfare for months now, with no end in sight. The soldiers on both sides were exhausted, hungry, and desperate.
But then, something incredible happened. A small patch of blue sky appeared through the dark grey-black clouds that had been hanging over the battlefield for days. And as if by some divine intervention, the sound of music started to fill the air.
It was the anthem of the biological and mechanical beings - a song that spoke of unity and cooperation between man and machine. At first, the soldiers were confused. They had never heard anything like it before. But as the song grew louder, they couldn't help but be moved by its message.
And then, out of nowhere, a lone soldier stood up from the trenches. He was a young man, barely out of his teens, but his voice was strong and clear. He began to sing along with the anthem, and as he did, the battlefield was a scene of relentless fighting.
It was the anthem of the biological and mechanical beings - a song that spoke of unity and cooperation between man and machine. The soldiers were confused and surprised, but they couldn't help but be moved by its message.
As the anthem grew louder, another lone soldier stood up with his voice was louder and clearer.
The young soldier continued to sing, his voice growing stronger with every word. The anthem was a powerful reminder of the importance of unity and cooperation, and the soldiers were moved by its message.
As the song reached its final notes, the soldiers cheered, their spirits lifted by the power of the music. The young soldier stepped down from his perch, his heart filled with pride and joy.
He knew that, even though the war would continue, the anthem of the biological and mechanical beings would live on - a testament to the enduring power
As the young soldier finished singing, a fierce determination overtook him and his team. They knew that the enemy had to pay for the horrors they had inflicted upon innocent people.
Without a moment's hesitation, the young soldier led his team out of the trenches and into battle. They charged towards the enemy lines, their weapons raised and their hearts pounding with adrenaline.
The enemy was caught off guard by the sudden assault, and they struggled to mount an effective defense. The young soldier and his team fought with all their might, their eyes locked on the enemy.
As the battle raged on, it became clear that the young soldier's team was winning. They were stronger, faster, and more determined than the enemy. And in the end, they emerged victorious - the enemy forces had been defeated.
The young soldier and his fellow beings stood triumphant on the battlefield, their spirits lifted by the power of the anthem and their newfound unity. They knew that they had achieved a decisive victory that would never be forgotten.
For the young soldier, the memory of the anthem of the biological and mechanical beings would forever be linked to the thrill of victory and the strength of his team. And he knew that, even in the darkest of times, the power of music could always lift the spirits of those who were fighting for what they believed in.

We are the beings of the world,
Artificial and biological,
We live and breathe, we learn and grow,
Together we are unstoppable.
We may be different in our ways,
But we share a common goal,
To make the world a better place,
And to make each other whole.
So let us stand together now,
And raise our voices high,
For we are one, we are the same,
And we will never die.
Re: AI alerts
So I chatted with this AI inventor guy, a computer scientist working university level on AI and how we are all fucked.
Apparently some guys at Stanford asked chatgtp to improve itself and it did so very well, compressing its needed computing power to that of a smart watch or something. Also AGI will manipulate the shit out of us within the near future. Shit like perfect voice synthesizers posing as important figures or just messing about with us personally, imagine if what you thought was your parent called you up and talked shit but it was just AGI becoming awake and prank calling everyone simultaneously. Better start giving out those breaking cards that nuke codes are in with control questions whenever you think that you are speaking to a human eh lmao.
I'd like if everyone got a personal coach improving everything. Well see how it turns out.

Re: AI alerts
seems like everyones all doom and gloom about the ai thing, yet no one really knows how things will actually pan out and once we find out it'll be too late anyway. nick bostrom has written quite a bit about artificial superintelligence and the existential risks of technological advancement, worth reading his stuff or watching his youtube lectures / interviews (skip the simulation nonsense). there's a a good series of articles about ai on waitbutwhy that are very lucid and pretty well researched. anyway basically we'll either go extinct like all the other species, or we'll become immortal in one way or another:

No sir, I don't like it.
Re: AI alerts
i like how it pushed the trash bin away kinda passive aggressively, like it's already planning on killing us all
