Life Boat 12000

Post by Hyacinth »

So I listened to a Podcast.

Turns out, 12000 years ago when we passed the same belt of asteroids that are so familiar, the Pleiades starfield in autumn, that we didn't realize the enormous impact that happened soon thereafter. Like a sudden all out nuclear war with 50mt impacts. Airburst after airbursts like so many, Tunguska in comparisson would equal to small fries. The ones who made it buddied up with the hunter friends who got gear and "Know-how", Grit, Skuxlife, wouldn't you? Anyhoo imagine as the impact on the north pole impacts and the resulting giga-tsunamis that occurred scarred the terrain to proposterus proportions, clearly seen on today's maps!

So what about it you might ask.

Let me tell you.

Ice bergs carrying mountains of rock and stone floating and churning away all beach properties in all of the western hemisphere. You could say people remembered. But so what if the Egyptians was squatters.

The lion turned sphinx.

Imagine a coastline, raise sea levels with 100 meters and then tell me about equality.

The unfortunate conclusion of above mentioned is that our entire species is like a functioning adult getting whipped over the head so hard that they can't eat without special utensils. It's pretty sad.

RIP mega fauna

From my understanding the Ice Age map is a bit flawed, the Strait of Gibraltar was a levy holding back the Atlantic Ocean and what was to become the Mediterranean Sea was mostly land. When the water levels rose from the melting ice the strait broke and flooded the area in a matter of a few months, making it one of the most aggressive floods in history. Also most of North Africa would have been verdant with vegetation, the Sahara didn't exist yet, or if it did it was still pretty small. Same thing with the Levant and Middle East, it was a lot greener back then and only started turning brown in the past couple thousand years after human habitation. With the Sumerians it was still really green.
