What do you after the enclave is dead?

Discuss the game that started it all, and its sequel. Technical questions and issues go into the Fallout Technical Support forum, not here.

What do you after the enclave is dead?

I personally clean out New Reno, and kill whoever gave me shit. I know it sounds very immature, but it's very theraputic. Plus First Cititzen Lynnete just pisses me off, slave holding evil bitch.

I usually go to Reno for the hint book and the praise of hookers. Then I go to Vault City and do the stuff with the computer. Then I usually go to the Enclave again to pick up my NPCs who I left outside the oil rig and then I walk insde by accident and end the game.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

Yeah, but there isn't really much left to do after you've finished the game other than getting the Fallout hintbook, asking Ms.Kitty out, shooting a porn movie in honor of you and some other small things. That's where it ends. I've never developed my character any further or slaughtered everyone, it would become dull after a while. When you start a new game, you can play differently with a different character and different gameplay and find all the secrets you can find. To be honest, there isn't much to play in Fallout 2 anymore, at least for me. I guess this game I play at the moment will be the last one, for a while. Too bad there is no Fallout 3 coming in the near future, so I gotta keep playing other games.

When I start a ne wgame I just pick a new mod. God bless the many weapon mod's, they give the game more replay value than you'd expect.

Or they have better things to do than needlessly level up a character after the end of a game. I personally don't believe you anyway with out proof. Send me proof, and I'll rightfully call you a juvenile with way to much free time, or not enough social interaction with the opposite sex.

Beleive what? Being level 100? There's quite many ways to do that once you've finished the game, and the prime one would be to get the aformentioned hintbook.

Although it's actually level 99, not 100...

Don't see the point in doing anything - you've FINISHED the game! I just start a new one or something, who has the patience in doing something that won't be of any use to him anyway.

Aaaaah, that's a bit extreme don't you think? It's not like playing the game is of any use to you. Besides, there's a bunch of things only available after you finish the game, and if that's not a point i don't know what is.

Like Doc Hill said, sometimes you just hold a grudge against someone you couldn't kill for moral reasons (or whatever), and you want revenge.

I put on my combat leather jacket, break out the .44 revolver, and go around finding enclavers and killing them in single shots of .44 goodness.

What I do depends on my character.
Good Guy: Travel with buddies until reaching level 99, or game time limit is reached
Bad Guy: Travel with buddies and kill everyone in every town

Good Girl: Travel with buddies and get married with dumbass guy in modoc, sell him to vault city, then part ways with buddies and start new game.
Bad girl:Never been a bad girl
Good? Bad? I'm the guy with the gun.

Start a new game thats completely different than the one you just played. Ex, if you talked your way through everything, use a dirt-stupid character with high strength. The game is amazingly fun doing that.
