Post by Croveon »

  I have had Fallout 2 for 4 years. Every weekend since the day I bought it, I have played the game for a LONG TIME. But yesterday, when I put in the Fallout 2 cd, started up the game, and saw the "Please stand by" screen, after the Please Stand by Screen finished loading...
*POOF* VOILA! I AM SENT RIGHT BACK TO WINDOWS!!

I experienced the same....in my rage i accidentally mutilated the cd beyond recognition...I actually flung it into a wall which caused it to shatter. Man, i hate myself for that now.

What you could try is downloading and applying a so-called "no-cd" crack at Gamecopyworld.com

Assuming, of course, that you have done a humongous install, which seems like a no-brainer nowadays.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

You don't need a CD or a crack if you do the humungous install.

I think the problem is he has chosen not to do that particular humungous install.
