Talking Dogs? Oh, my.

Place: Random Encounter while on the coast.
Situation: A group of Raiders is attacking the peasants.

Screenshot: The dog is thanking me for saving the peasants from the raiders. Yes, a dog.

No kidding.

I went on a random encounter hunt, while trying to hit the 500 day mark.

I never hit it. I guess that could be expected. I applyed the patch during a game, so i expected it not to effect my saved game. Apparently it did.

I'm going to start a new game as a HtH murderer or a Melee destroyer. I hope all the screwy bugs go away. If they don't i'll consider the Dual Jewel Pack with FO1 and FO2 a deal. (I don't have FO2.)

Huh, talking dogs, talking dogs.... Oh yeah. Only dogs that talk are Disney animals. You should've killed it just for that. Anyhoo, your disc seems to be a little screwy.

I would definitely get the dual jewel case for only 10 USD since you don't have FO2 anyway.... I did. I gave my extra FO1 copy to a friend for several dollars.

The same thing happened to me, and I have the dual set. I think that it was a general saying for everyone in that group, the developers just forgot that one was a dog.
I'm not insane, I'm just misunderstood. Unless I misunderstood the meaning of "insane".

Don't all dogs talk?

Yeah, that's happened to me in the game as well, and I just figured with that much radiation, anythings possible...

How could this be the result of a screwy disc?

A-ha! So they had intelligent deathclaws in episode 1 already!!! Chris Taylor might not be crazy after all! :D

Well, check out this encounter... It's just weird:

No critters at all. Just a bunch of old boxes, a few tires, an empty oil barrel plus some trash. Is this supposed to be somethign special, eh??

That trash thing is a normal, stupid encounter. It just says "you run across some trash strewn around the dessert" or something like that... Sometimes you can find old food and caps among the junk...
