As I've said before, it depends on whether you like a good martial art performer on the screen, or a real MR personnel. I am not particularly interested in any of them, but I don't like Jackie Chan as a husband and father, he sucks in that aspect.
To the soul's desire
the body listens
What the flesh requires
keeps the heart imprisoned
What the spirit seeks the mind will follow
When the body speaks all else is hollow
Jet Li is fucking amazing- almost as good as Bruce Lee (Li & Lee?).
Check morpheus or kazaa for some clips of him training/sparring- fucking insane moves.
Did you know that Jet Li is a grand master of Shao Lin Kung Fu? Granted Bruce Lee invented his own martial art but it is not all that elegant where Jet Li is.
Lee of you go for skill and better training, Chan if you go for that certain comical charisma in the fight. Li is pretty good, but Lee would be better if he started nowdays.
I suppose, looking at Lee's films, he is more powerful than Li, but Li is faster so can give equal punishment if not more in the same time as one of Lee's combos.
Jet Li doesn't always play the villan, in fact he rarely does. If you watch Once Upon A Time In China 1, 2 & 3 and Once Upon A Time In China And America you will see that he is depicted as a hero.
