A Fallout 2 mod.

Post by Killzig »

[ -> N/A]

Most of you should have seen this by now. But if you haven't...

Mack_The_Knife has sent me a new MOD for FO2. This mod includes changes to almost all of the items you can carry -

Combat is now faster and more dangerous, alcohol is now useful, almost every description has been altered, and a host of other changes! Grab it now and give it a try:

Non-DAT Version (111K) (Multiple files, smaller zip size)

DAT Version(2.77M) (Larger zip size, single file)

Installation instructions are in the readme.txt inside the zip.

The author has this bit to add:

If anyone should actually download this mod... I must tell you... bear with it... Remember how Fallout 2 seemed quaint and boring in the beggining but then it got better... well, this mod is faithful to the fallout spirit in that it's like that too... The Temple of Trials, Arroyo and Klamath benefit greatly from this mod and I don't think you'll be disappointed - just not as satisfied as you can be with this mod... JUST GET TO THE DEN... and from there on in... all the way to the Enclave main base... this mod is going to be worth it! Trust me!

Welp, guess I'll give it a go.

To add to my statment, the copyright owner(s) of those old advertizments are the companies who made them, not the person who scanned it and put it on the web. And it's advertizment, not art (even though art is in advertizment), so no-one holds a specific copyright over it just because he "kept the picture all this time".

All in all, for those pics - unless modified to reflect new art, as found on the SA sites - are perfectly legitimate.

Ah... wrong thread perhaps, Red?
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

Yeah, that happens to me sometimes. I click a thread and end up in a different thread in a different forum.

holy shit!!! sulik is a fuckin' beast now! lol

i took a screenshot of him bashing in a gecko's rib cage, sending him 2 screens away--- 245 damage! lol

but one thing that kinda stinks is that because of the name changes, sulik couldnt use a spear, cause its named something else, only the sledge retained its name for his use.

damn, cant wait til i get some guns! lol

The name change has nothing to do with it... the spear is "ID"'d by a unique number, regardless of it's name/description.

Itherwise people wouldn't have been able to translate "spear" to whatever languge they needed it in now couldn't they?

I'm talking about this:
