I'm not for originality over everything else, but if making it original won't harm it, then why not?

Actually, what I was saying is that SPECIAL doesn't need to be subdivided like that for fantasy OR for sci-fi. You can adjust how weapons interact with the target to handle those situations just like Fallout did with ammo vs. armor.

Hmm ... I see what you're saying, but how would you handle all the Lionheart melee weapons? They don't have ammo.

Probably by making ammo properties inherent in melee weapons. I think I even said that. :)
